Yes there is chalk board in the school.Yes there are places to keep the books.
Q5. Are there anything which the school will like us to teach?
They can also give you the information."
Friends, if you have any enquiries about the place, the children or the trip there, do drop me a mail, a comment, or a line in the chat box. Will try to answer if i can, if not i will send the question to the resort manager.
Back to the weather issue. Though he did not clearly indicate that we should avoid the Jun period, i think it is still best to go in the winter season.
For those who are conscious about the cost of the trip, i'm now in the process of gathering more information.
Am still looking and considering the early Jan 2010 period. Have yet to receive anyone's response to come along. Hmmmm....As mentioned in the last entry, the brought-forward is so that we can reach out to them earlier and to expand our efforts in other part of the village / villages if required to.
Frankly, I'm a novice to this overseas volunteering project. People may ask, why am I doing it? Why not just donate the money to some well-established organisations, and let them run the shows? Why the trouble?
I dont disagree. Yes, monetary donation is also one of the way. Many people have commitments and limitations, donations are no doubt one of the best ways to help the unfortunate. I would too. But at this moment, i think i can still do abit more. My "abit more" however needs the support of many of you. Everybody's "abit more" will become "much much more".
Let's do something for our fellow mankind. Shall we? =)
